     Rhett Hamiter, Gulfport, MS, Claimant.

     Linda G. Williams, Disbursing Officer, Naval Oceanographic
Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, appearing for Department of the
Navy.

GOODMAN, Board Judge.

     Mr. Rhett Hamiter is a civilian employee with the Department
of the Navy.  On March 10, 1997, he requested review by this Board
of the agency s reduction of his round-trip mileage claimed in
connection with the use of a privately-owned conveyance while
performing official travel to and from an alternate duty site in
accordance with temporary duty orders.  The amount of the reduction
totals $24.80.

     By memorandum filed with the Board on March 20, 1997, the
agency s representative advised that Mr. Hamiter has been
reimbursed the additional mileage he claimed.  Mr. Hamiter
confirmed the same by memorandum filed with the Board on March 25,
1997.  Accordingly, this claim is dismissed.
