        On January 20, 1998, Tri-State Motor Transit Co. (Tri-State)
   requested a review  of General Services Administration's  (GSA's)
   denial  of  its  claim for  $21.45  based  upon  excess valuation
   charges,  in  connection  with  the  shipment  of  freight  under
   Government bill of lading no. D-2,467,067.
 
        GSA  reviewed  Tri-State's  claim  and  issued  a settlement
   certificate authorizing payment of $21.45.
        Accordingly, the claim is dismissed.
