     Colonel David A. Shull, Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters,
Military Traffic Management Command, Department of the Army, Falls
Church, VA, appearing for Department of Defense.

DANIELS, Board Judge (Chairman).

     This case involves a claim by Tri-State Motor Transit Co. for
additional moneys due for carriage of Department of Defense goods
under a Government bill of lading.

     Upon docketing this case, the Board asked the General Services
Administration (GSA) for comments on the claim.  GSA concluded that
Tri-State was due an additional payment of $139 -- $11 less than
the amount claimed.  Tri-State agreed to accept this sum, rather
than proceed with the case.  Once the claimant received the money,
it asked that the case be closed.

     Since the claimant does not wish to proceed, the case is
dismissed.
