     American World Forwarders, Inc. (American) filed a claim for
reimbursement of costs incurred in connection with the shipment of
goods from Wilhelmshaven, Germany to Portsmouth, Virginia.

     American filed a motion to dismiss its claim on October 17,
1996.  American prematurely filed the claim with the Board and will
now seek to resolve its claim through the agency.

     The claim is dismissed.
