     Col. James F. Quinn, Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters,
Military Traffic Management Command, Department of the Army, Falls
Church, VA, appearing for Department of Defense.

VERGILIO, Board Judge.

     The claimant, Tri-State Motor Transit Co., sought
reimbursement for additional transportation charges under a
specific Government bill of lading.  Tri-State has received and
agrees with a report issued by the Department of the Army,
Headquarters, Military Traffic Management Command, regarding the
commodity shipped.  Tri-State has withdrawn its request for review
of the underlying claim, and has requested that the Board close the
file on this matter without further action.  Accordingly, the claim
is dismissed--final agency action having occurred.
