Board of Contract Appeals General Services Administration Washington, D.C. 20405 ______________________________________ DISMISSED: November 25, 2002 ______________________________________ GSBCA 15963-ST THOMSON & PRATT INSURANCE ASSOCIATES, INC., Appellant, v. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, Respondent. Joseph R. Cruse, Jr., Long Beach, CA, counsel for Appellant. Dennis J. Gallagher and Luisa M. Alvarez, Buildings and Acquisitions, Department of State, Rosslyn, VA, counsel for Respondent. NEILL, Board Judge. This case involves a claim by appellant for insurance premiums in the amount of $343,353.42. The claim was denied by the contracting officer in a decision dated July 9, 2002. A timely appeal of that decision was subsequently filed with the Board. Since that time, counsel for respondent has filed a motion to dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction. She notes that the contracting officer inadvertently issued his decision without noticing that the appellant's claim was not certified. Counsel for appellant has advised the Board that he does not oppose respondent's motion to dismiss. Accordingly, respondent's motion to dismiss is granted. This case is DISMISSED pursuant to Board Rule 128. __________________________ EDWIN B. NEILL Board Judge
