Board of Contract Appeals General Services Administration Washington, D.C. 20405 _________________________ DISMISSED: April 25, 2001 _________________________ GSBCA 15417-ST GRIFFIN SERVICES, INC., Appellant, v. DEPARTMENT OF STATE, Respondent. Richard Rushton, President and Chief Operating Officer of Griffin Services, Inc., Atlanta, GA, appearing for Appellant. Dennis J. Gallagher, Assistant Legal Adviser, Buildings and Acquisition, Office of General Counsel, Department of State, Arlington, VA, counsel for Respondent. HYATT, Board Judge. ORDER On April 18, 2001, by agreement of the parties, a binding arbitration proceeding was convened in the subject appeal. Appellant, Griffin Services, Inc., challenged a contracting officer's decision denying certain claims asserted under a contract for fixed price operation and maintenance services to be performed at the State Department's National Foreign Affairs Training Center in Arlington, Virginia. Under the contract, Griffin was responsible, inter alia, for performing repairs and preventive maintenance of the plumbing, mechanical equipment and systems, and electrical equipment and systems, as well as for custodial services and snow removal. At the conclusion of the presentations of the parties, Griffin withdrew one of its claims. An order memorializing the Board's rulings on the remaining six items was issued on April 25, 2001. These rulings are not appealable and have no precedential effect in future proceedings. All of the issues raised in the appeal have now been resolved. Accordingly, this appeal is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE. _________________________________ CATHERINE B. HYATT Board Judge
