ORDER The General Services Administration contracted with Centex Construction Company, Inc., to build a courthouse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Centex submitted a claim under this contract for $124,382 in alleged additional costs incurred by it and its subcontractor Gardner-Zemke Corporation for providing electrical power and control wiring to certain door hardware sets in the courthouse. The contracting officer denied the claim, and Centex appealed her decision. The parties submitted the case to alternative dispute resolution, with a Board judge acting as mediator. The mediation led to settlement of the case. Subsequently, the parties filed a joint motion for dismissal with prejudice.
