                                 ORDER
 
        This appeal involved a claim  for $48,953 in connection with
   the proposed sale of a  tugboat under invitation for bids 91FBPS-
   97-081.  On January 3, 2001, appellant informed the Board that he
   wished the  Board to  dismiss this appeal.   Respondent  does not
   object.   Pursuant to  appellant's motion  and Rule  128(a), this
   appeal is DISMISSED.
