Board of Contract Appeals General Services Administration Washington, D.C. 20405 DISMISSED: December 9, 1999 GSBCA 15088-SSA, 15089-SSA MASTER SECURITY, INC., Appellant, v. SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION, Respondent. Gregory N. Strouse, President of Master Security, Inc., Hunt Valley, MD, appearing for Appellant. Lyman Goon, Office of the General Counsel, Social Security Administration, Baltimore, MD, counsel for Respondent. DANIELS, Board Judge (Chairman). ORDER Master Security, Inc., provided security services to the Social Security Administration at a facility in Baltimore, Maryland. After the contract had been fulfilled, Master Security claimed that the agency had improperly calculated the amounts of money which should have been paid for those services, and that the total amount due was greater than what had been paid. The contracting officer did not issue decisions on Master Security's two claims, and the contractor appealed from her deemed denial of the claims. We docketed as GSBCA 15088-SSA the appeal involving recalculations of amounts due based on hours worked, and as GSBCA 15089-SSA the appeal involving recalculations of amounts due based on implementation of a contract clause adjusting the price consequent to wage increases. After the appeals were filed, the parties promptly and professionally exchanged detailed justifications of their positions, discussed the matters as to which they disagreed, and voluntarily settled the disputes. The contractor then asked that the appeals be withdrawn. Accordingly, the cases are DISMISSED. _________________________ STEPHEN M. DANIELS Board Judge
