This case involves a claim made by Twigg Corporation (Twigg) under a contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) for the renovation of Federal Office Building #6 in Washington, D.C. The claim is for an equitable adjustment to the contract, in the amount of $18,088, to compensate Twigg and its electrical subcontractor, Walker/Seal, for additional costs arising from furnishing and installing, at GSA's direction, light fixtures with a trim different from the one required by the contract. Twigg elected to have the case considered under the small claims procedure. Consequently, the Board's decision in the case is being issued by a single judge. 41 U.S.C. 608 (1994); Board Rule 202 (48 CFR 6102.2 (1998)). The parties also elected to use alternative dispute resolution techniques in the case. Rule 204. After a session which included both neutral case evaluation and mediation, the parties settled their dispute. They have now filed a motion for a stipulated award, Rule 136(e), in which they jointly request the entry of judgment set out below. They have also agreed not to request reconsideration of this decision and not to appeal the decision. Decision The appeal is GRANTED. In full settlement of the claims contained in GSBCA 15014, GSA shall pay to Twigg the sum of twenty thousand five hundred dollars and no cents ($20,500.00), inclusive of interest. _________________________ STEPHEN M.
