Board of Contract Appeals General Services Administration Washington, D.C. 20405 DISMISSED: May 17, 2000 GSBCA 14945 TWIGG CORPORATION, Appellant, v. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, Respondent. Paul V. Waters of Spriggs & Hollingsworth, Washington, DC, counsel for Appellant. Kevin J. Rice, Office of General Counsel, General Services Administration, Washington, DC, counsel for Respondent. DANIELS, Board Judge (Chairman). ORDER The contract between Twigg Corporation (Twigg) and the General Services Administration (GSA) for renovation of Federal Building 6 in Washington, D.C. required the contractor to install an automatic temperature control system in the building. Twigg, through its subcontractor Siemans Building Technologies, Inc. (Siemans), installed a system which allegedly met all contract specifications but did not meet GSA's Year 2000 compliance requirements. Twigg claimed that it was entitled to an equitable adjustment in the contract price, in the amount of $27,857, as compensation for Siemans' work to meet the Year 2000 compliance requirements. The contracting officer denied this claim, and Twigg appealed her decision. Twigg has now informed the Board that the case has been settled and may be removed from the Board's docket. Accordingly, the case is DISMISSED. _________________________ STEPHEN M. DANIELS Board Judge
