                                 ORDER
 
        This appeal was filed July 8, 1998 by appellant on behalf of
   its subcontractor,  Star Electric Co.  Inc.  Appellant  sought an
   equitable adjustment of  $150,736.49 arising from a  contract for
   repairs  and alterations  at  the Social  Security Administration
   Complex,  Woodlawn, Maryland.   The parties agreed  to attempt to
   resolve  the  appeal  by  alternative  dispute  resolution  (ADR)
   procedures with  the panel  chairman serving  as Board  Neutral. 
   The  ADR proceeding was held on  March 19, 1999 and reconvened on
   June 30,  1999.   At the conclusion  of the  ADR proceeding,  the
   parties agreed  to a settlement of  the appeal.   By letter dated
   October 4, 1999, appellant informed the Board that the settlement
   had been consummated and  requested dismissal of the  appeal with
   prejudice.  Accordingly, this appeal is DISMISSED.  Rule 128 (a).
