                                 ORDER
 
        On June  22, 1998, appellant filed appeals of deemed denials
   of two claims that were submitted to the contracting officer with
   a request for  a decision under  the Contract Disputes Act.   The
   first claim, for  additional costs for bus ducts G1 and G2 in the
   amount of $11,398.25, was submitted to the contracting officer on
   December 22, 1997.   This case was docketed as GSBCA  14623.  The
   second  claim, for additional costs for trough installation above
   switchgear in  the  amount of  $11,205.76, was  submitted to  the
   contracting officer on November 24, 1997.  This case was docketed
   as GSBCA 14624.
        The Board issued an order on further proceedings on June 24,
   1998.   On October 22, 1998,  the parties advised the  Board that
   the appeals  had been settled  and that appellant would  move for
   dismissal once payment  was effected.  On April  2, 1999, counsel
   for appellant filed  a letter advising  that "[t]he parties  have
   now consummated their settlement in  the referenced appeals.  You
   may therefore dismiss  the appeals."  Accordingly,  these appeals
   are DISMISSED.  Rule 128(a).
