                                 ORDER
 
        On  January 6,  1998, Washington  Data  Systems, Inc.  (WDS)
   appealed the final  decision of a Social  Security Administration
   contracting officer denying  WDS' claim for payment  on unordered
   minimum   quantities   of   microfilm   under   contract   number
   600-93-9035.   On  August 30,  1999,  the parties  filed a  joint
   request to dismiss  this appeal with prejudice,  stating that the
   parties have entered  into a settlement agreement  resolving this
   matter.
 
 
        Accordingly, this appeal is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
