Woods Construction, Inc., appealed a General Services Administration contracting officer's denial of a claim in the amount of $545,035 for an equitable adjustment to a contract for restoration and improvements to the United States Courthouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Soon after the appeal was filed, the parties asked the Board to suspend proceedings to afford them time in which to negotiate a settlement. The parties have now filed a joint motion for a stipulated award of $545,035 from the respondent to the appellant. In the motion, the parties state that they will not seek reconsideration of, or relief from, a Board decision adopting this stipulation, and they will not appeal such a decision. Rule 136(e) (48 CFR 6101.36(e) (1997)). Decision The appeal is GRANTED. The General Services Administration shall pay to D. L. Woods Construction, Inc., $545,035. _________________________ STEPHEN M.
