   WILLIAMS, Board Judge.
                                 ORDER
 
        On  December 4, 1997,  appellant, GC Services,  appealed the
   final  decision of a Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue
   Service, contracting officer denying its claim for $43,659.38 for
   collection services  under contract number TIRNO-96-C-00037.   On
   February 27, 1998,  GC Services  filed a  request to  dismiss the
   appeal with prejudice stating that the matter has been settled.
        Accordingly, this appeal is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
