________________ May 2, 1997 ________________ GSBCA 14155-NGA In the matter of TYRONE M. LEWIS Tyrone M. Lewis, Washington, DC, Claimant. Luis Baquedano, Office of the Secretary-General Counsel, National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, appearing for the National Gallery of Art. PARKER, Board Judge. Mr. Tyrone M. Lewis, an employee of the National Gallery of Art (NGA), requested a hearing concerning the existence of a debt that he allegedly owed to NGA. See 5 U.S.C. 5514(a)(2)(D) (1994). Through an interagency agreement, the Board was to provide the hearing official services. On May 1, 1997, Mr. Lewis filed a document with the Board which stated as follows: This statement is to certify that I Tyrone M. Lewis withdraw my claim against the National Gallery of Art concerning the matter befor[e] you and agree to pay said amount. Because Mr. Lewis no longer challenges the existence of his debt to NGA, the hearing scheduled for today is canceled and the matter is hereby dismissed with prejudice. ____________________ ROBERT W.
