These appeals involve a claim in the amount of $201,962 for constructive change involving the renovation contract for the Department of Veterans Affairs building. The change arose from the contracting officer's directive to center the sprinkler heads in the middle of ceiling tiles, when the contract only suggested that the sprinkler heads be centered in the middle of the tiles. A.S. McGaughan Co., Inc. v. Barram, No. 96-1315 (Fed. Cir. Apr. 25, 1997). The parties have settled their dispute for $125,785 and have also agreed that appellant is entitled to interest on that amount accruing as of June 1, 1995, until paid in accordance with the Contract Disputes Act. The parties have requested the Board to adopt their settlement by decision pursuant to Rule 136(e) and have submitted certificates of finality. Decision Pursuant to the agreement of the parties and Rule 136(e), the Board adopts the parties' stipulation by decision. These appeals are GRANTED in the amount of $125,785 plus interest as provided under the Contract Disputes Act from June 1, 1995, until paid. _______________________________ ANTHONY S.
