Board of Contract Appeals General Services Administration Washington, D.C. 20405 ___________________________________________________________ MOTION TO SPECIFY QUANTUM GRANTED: September 17, 1998 ___________________________________________________________ GSBCA 13525-REM CAFRITZ COMPANY, Appellant, v. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, Respondent. Rebecca L. Kehoe and Ki W. Nam of Cotten & Selfon, Washington, DC, counsel for Appellant. Kevin S. Anderson, Office of General Counsel, General Services Administration, Washington, DC, counsel for Respondent. Before Board Judges BORWICK, HYATT, and DeGRAFF. BORWICK, Board Judge. The parties jointly move to specify quantum in Cafritz Co. v. General Services Administration, GSBCA 13525-REM (Aug. 3, 1998). There, we concluded that appellant was entitled to fair market value rent at the monthly rate of $21,532.15 for the holdover term November 25, 1994 through July 31, 1995. We noted that respondent had paid appellant part of the amount due as holdover rent, but that the period covered by the last rent check was uncertain, thus making uncertain the remaining period of holdover rent for which payment was due. The parties have now agreed that appellant is entitled to payment for eight months and seven days of holdover rent and that the quantum due based on the Board's opinion is $196,192.88. Decision We grant the joint motion. Based upon the motion of the parties, the Board awards appellant $196,192.88, plus applicable interest as provided by the Contract Disputes Act of 1978, 41 USC 601-613 (1994). __________________________ ANTHONY S.
