                                 ORDER
 
        Appellant,  the  owner  of an  office  building  in Seattle,
   Washington,   contested   a   General   Services   Administration
   contracting  officer's decision  claiming  $423,259.68 under  the
   contract which governs  the Government's  lease of  space in  the
   building.   The claim  asserted that the  Government was  due the
   money  pursuant  to   a  clause  adjusting  rental   payments  in
   accordance with changes in real estate tax assessments.
 
        The appeal  was  filed  on  March 6,  1996.    On  July  31,
   appellant informed the  Board that the case had  been settled and
   withdrew the appeal with prejudice.
 
        The appeal is DISMISSED.
