   PER CURIAM.
 
        On March 24,  1993, Fire Security Systems,  Inc. (appellant)
   filed this  appeal  against the  General Services  Administration
   (respondent)  under  contract  number  GS-09P-89-KTC-0127.    The
   appeal was brought as a deemed denial of appellant's February 17,
   1993, request  for a  contracting officer's final  decision on  a
   claim seeking $175,961.94  for additional sprinkler heads.   This
   appeal  was premature  in that  sixty days  had not  passed since
   appellant's request for a  contracting officer's final  decision.
   41 U.S.C   605(c)  (2), (5) (1988).  Accordingly,  this appeal is
   DISMISSED AS PREMATURELY FILED.
