ORDER On January 31, 1992, Vantage Engineering and Construction, Inc., filed an appeal from the unilateral decision of the General Services Administration contracting officer relative to Contract Number GS-07P-91-HUC-0001. That contract was for a sprinkler system and miscellaneous fire safety improvements to the Federal Building and Courthouse, Roswell, New Mexico. The decision appealed from involved a unilateral deductive change order in the amount of $11,362.77, deleting elevator work from the scope of the contract. The contracting officer did not accept appellant's representation that it had bid $6,000 for the deleted work. After docketing the appeal and receiving the answer, the parties advised us that they had settled the appeal by increasing the contract price by $4,000 and requested dismissal with prejudice.
